Circle of Friends (Social Skills Group)
  • Dates:
    January 8th & 22nd; February 5th & 19th; March 5th & 19th.
  • Duration:
    This class will meet for 6 weeks.
  • Time:
    3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
DESCRIPTION: This social skills group is intendend to teach and guide social interactions of group members in how to establish and maintain friendships and participate in activities in the community.

Computer Basic Skills Group
  • Dates:
    Beginning January 14, 2019 - 2nd MONDAY of each month.
  • Duration:
    Beginning January 14, 2019 - Ongoing
  • Time:
    2nd MONDAY of each month; 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    16-years-old to adult
DESCRIPTION: This group is for those who are interested in learning more about desktop computers and laptop computers. The topics and focus of this group will be determined by group members, so if there is something you really want to know, sign up and make your wishes known.

Drivers' Study Group
  • Dates:
    April 2nd & 16th; May 7th & 21st; June 4th & 18th.
  • Duration:
    This class will meet for 6 weeks.
  • Time:
    1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
DESCRIPTION: This group will meet two TUESDAYS a month, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to help group members prepare for their written drivers test.

Learning and Engaging in Gardening
  • Dates:
    June 4th, 11th, 18th; August 6th, 13th.
  • Duration:
    Three weeks in June and two weeks in August.
  • Time:
    3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
DESCRIPTION: In this class, you will learn the basics of starting a garden and caring for your planted goods. This class will begin on June 4th for planting season and continue for 3-weeks. The class will then meet again in August, on August 6th and August 13th, for harvesting.

Movie and Game Night

Movie and Game Night

DESCRIPTION: Join us on the THIRD Thursday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for Movie and Game Night at Access North in Hibbing. This social time is for anyone 14- years-old to adult. We will be watching a variety of movies, sit-coms, or episodes of TV shows. Any and all suggestions are welcome! We will also have gaming systems available for use. Feel free to bring your favorite Wii game.
Please, join us for an opportunity to interact with peers, watch movies, play games, and socialize in a group setting.
